Things that happen, things that exist, and things that are as they are

Curiosities and events, which are sometimes cannot enter the Argentine press and media landscape. Because of being too insignificant or because being too embarrassing for the governing Macrism regime.

Elections 2017 - whenever there are elections
Elections 2017 - whenever there are elections

Elections 2017 - whenever there are elections

After the bankruptcy of 2001 (caused by the same people who at the time returned to form the macrista regime) Argentina called the attention for numerous manifestations in the streets in which everybody expressed his doubts and concerns, manifestations with 5 people and demonstrations, with 1 million participants or more.

Argentina was characterized by a system of workers unionism, more advanced than in any other country, was characterized by highly educated and qualified people (due to free education for all) and by a well working social and health system.

There began a return oft public transport means (which were eliminated in favor of private companies by other governments), with prices accessible to all, like medium and long distance trains or inland flights with the national airline.

Well, all this was yesterday.

Now the Macrism regime opts for a different Argentina:

Who doesn't fit into the scheme, goes to prison, as political prisoner. Without trial, without judgment, without anything.
This happened to Milagro Sala, a woman, an Indian, a social leader and a deputy elected to Parlasur.
This was the case for several leders of worker unions, and this is what they want to raise for the former president, and current candidate for senator, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

In order to destroy public and free education, at public school teachers a salary 40% lower than the poverty line is offered, at students in public universities (often living thousands of miles away from their village) are removed the scholarships and the subsidies.

So that neither the political prisoners nor the teachers or students are left alone, for the retirees was made a historical repair, which in the normal case brings them an increase of 10 Pesos (a little more than half a dollar) per month, but on the other hand, the free medicines for retirees has been already removed, medicines that are no longer available, not even paid.
Retirees with basic retirement lost 45% of purchasing power with the Macrism regime.

Women who received widowhood pensions once again were asked for all the documentation, if not threatening to take away their pensions.
Causing cases circling the/some media, such as asking this 96-year-old women whose husbands died in another province in the year 1974, they rowed behind and said this would be suspended. The expenses of documentation already delivered, is for the retired ... bad luck.

At disabled people their pensions were withdrew. Confronted with mass demonstrations, they again the rowed behind, but only with words: they said it was a political mistake and they were not going to do it, but however they did.

The huge wave of dismissals in order to flexibilize the labor market, already has caused more than half a million new dismissals, more than 3 million new poor were created with full success by the Macrism regime - the (almost) last were more than 600 unemployed by the PepsiCo company. It seems better not to sit down taking a can of Coke when negotiating with the CEO of PepsiCo, as the vice president did.

On the other hand, the 40 offshore accounts of the honorable president himself, evading taxes, offshore accounts of all other members of the government, bribery cases, such as those related to Odebrecht, and the fact that money goes to other side and doesn't benefit neither people nor country, are also things that are already well engraved in the brains of the people.

People also can't forget the increases in energy, water and garbage that came to be up to 6000% (six tousand), because they notice it, looking how slender their pockets are.

So, in view of all this, it is not surprising at all, that the number of social protests increases, every day there are demonstrations against the government and its taken measures.

Because the investments improving the economy promised for the past year so far didn't come (because the Argentinians are all vague, said the president, so even there is an enormous effort by him, no foreigner wants to invest ...), which would have been a pretty good argument for the 2017 elections, strategy was changed.
Now the Macrism regime wants to demonstrate the hard hand:

As if Argentina were in the middle of the civil War, armed forces are sent randomly to repress demonstrations, also beating women and children, something that seems the members of those armed forces like, because estimating that there will be less resistance, so one can feel himself more on the safe side ...
Armed forces are sent arbitrarily to raid workers unions headquarters, because regime thinks (rightly so) that there might be people working not agreeing with that what's going on.

With the elections date approaching, and the serious chances that voters will pay there the Macrism regime their failures, it is very likely that the number of assaults and attacks on democratic institutions, demonstrations and even candidates continues to rise.

From hard hand to dictatorship there's only one step.

Metrobus for Mar del Plata.

The governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Vidal, the national cabinet chief, Peña, and the national transport minister, Dietrich and a mayor with surname Arroyo announced in an election event that there will be a Metrobus in Mar del Plata.
The work for the installation of a Metrobus system, is to paint on the streets, where busses can drive. According to the Minister of Transport, already several months of intensive thinking work have been invested in this important project.

The protagonists of the event remained alone, not even grandmother's parrot came to see then.

However, passing citizens did not hesitate to tell them the results of their administration, such as hundreds of thousands of the unemployed, hunger in neighborhoods, taking away pensions, high inflation etc. etc.

A quite accidental traffic accident

Federico Delgado is the national prosecutor who investigates the payments of bribery and fines of the Brazilian group Odebrecht to the officials and members of the family of the Argentine president Mauricio Macri, a president who is well known by its multiple appearances in the Panama-Papers.

Not surprising, the prosecutor Delgado casually became victim of a traffic accident:

A car crossing at red light, simply drove him down in front of the courthouse.

Argentine culture attaché in Germany trivializes dictatorship.

Darío Lopérfido, short-term culture secretary of the City of Buenos Aires, and then short-term director of the Colón-Theatre, listed as long term tax evader in the Panama-Papers together with renowned personalities such as Mauricio Macri, Jorge Macri, Néstor Grindetti, Esteban Bullrich and Gustavo Arribas & Co. (see: wikipedia.org), is the new Culture Attache in the Argentine embassy in Germany.

In the last few months, Lopérfido emphasized less by successes in his work, but more by publicly denying the atrocities committed by the last military dictatorship in Argentina and also doubting the number of victims seized and disappeared:
Official numbers speak of more than 30,000 people who have been eliminated and disappeared by the militaries, but Lopérfido insists on a number of about 7,000 victims.
But it seems that a family conflict is approaching: Lopérfido's wife, Esmeralda Mitre, actress of distribution in some series of television and descendant of an oligarchic presidential family speaks of 8,000 disappearances and victims.

As a profound connoisseur of Germany, Lopérfido has now been designated as the Culture Attache of the Argentine Embassy in Germany.

Perhaps there is a German journalist who is willing to interview the honorable Culture Attache of the Argentine Embassy on topics such as the Holocaust, the assassination of alleged political dissidents by dictatorial regimes, etc.

However, in view of the fact that everything related to work and Lopérfido is of short-term, he should hurry: because it is not known if after the Oktoberfest Lopérfido will still remain there.
O'zapft is! Prost!

Most of the union leaders were always more on the side of the oligarchy than on the side of the people they pretend to represent, the side of the workers.

That is nothing new and nothing particular of Argentina.

Regularly receiving some bribe, seeing the assignments of charges in the state to sons, daughters and nephews and nieces, it took almost a year and a half to announce a strike light, already under strong pressure from their union bases.

Agreed and arranged with the regime, the idea behind a light strike was, to give a holiday, ore to the common people, who, as the representatives of the regime and the leaders of the unions thought unanimously, would be welcomed by the workers with great enthusiasm and would contribute to calm the tense situation:

No meetings or marches were planned for this national strike day on April 6, 2017.
The Regime and the media obedient to the regime didn't get tired to call for breaking the strike: workers should use bicycles and their particular cars etc. in order to be able to get to their workplaces in some way.
Collecting parking taxes in the federal capital was suspended for the day of the strike.

However, it seems that they again miscalculated the Argentine national soul, or might be, the economic politics of the regime, which has led and leads many people to poverty, brought and brings mass layoffs, pension cuts and salary reducing, increases of prices for energy and water up to 6000 (six thousand) %, finally arrived to the brains of the people:

Already at dawn the roads and highways feeder of the Federal Capital were blocked by demonstrators.

The regime sent ferocious dogs, horses, water cannons, tanks, many gendarmes and a lot strong, brave heavily armed policemen, to war against the protestants.

At 11 o'clock the end of the alert could be communicated: all access routes have been cleared of subversive elements, said a police spokesman.

Banks, gas stations, national and international airports, many shops and businesses are closed bevause of strike. Taxis, subways and buses don't work, hospitals attend emergencies only.

In prudent foresight, all the representatives of the Macrista regime provided their absence in this event.

Argentine Minister of Education: Hitler was quite OK.

Some say Argentina is heading for a Nazi state.Argentina goes Nazi.
Argentine Minister of Education: Hitler was quite OK.

Argentine Minister of Education: Hitler was quite OK.

Having already been praised a few weeks ago, by an adviser to the honorable president, the German Adolf Hitler these days could experience another award:

The Education Minister of Argentina, Esteban Bullrich, said visiting Anne Frank's house in Amsterdam about Anne Frank:

Their dreams were truncated by a leadership that was not able to unite all the people.

So the only problem of Hitler and his Nazis was not other than not getting all Germans to be on their side.

As in Argentina these days, there are always some out there, who are not so content with the megalomania of regimes.

Felipe González visits Argentina: said, not said, but at least denied

Telenovela former president Cristina goes to jail, episode 753 - Felipe Gonzáles of Spain and the newspaper Clarín acting as special guests

Felipe González visits Argentina: said, not said, but at least denied

Felipe González is a former socialist Spanish prime minister (PSOE party), always accompanied by rumors to have established secret pacts with the Argentine military dictatorship, and of whom it's said, that he always was well open minded to anything that smelled of corruption.

These days Felipe González visited the honorable president Mauricio Macri.

It's said, they talked about this, that, other and more.

Minutes later, the tabloid Clarin, as always, nailed down on the side of the Macrista regime, published on his cover, in its usual great letters, that Felipe González urged Macri to arrest Argentinas former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, in order to clear away uncertainties of eventual Spanish investors whether to invest or not to invest.

The idea behind the arrest and imprisonment of the former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is simple: who stays in prison, has difficulties to return to the political stage and to move and act actively there.

You should know that Clarin is part of a media conglomerate which, through Cablevision and Directv (at & t, Turner) controls 100% of the television channels and through Fibertel and Directv around 80% of the Internet and Internet connections in Argentina.

You also should be aware, that in a few months in Argentina there will be elections to both parliamentary chambers.
There a victory of Kirchner seems quite probable, due to the some disastrous economic policies of the macrista regime, and due to the increases of tariffs of energy and water until 6000%, etc. etc.

Invited and summoned to give explanations and clarifications, Felipe González was dismayed and flatly denied having said anything like that.

The honorable president Mauricio Macri, however, was not willing to give any clarification or statement.

So far so good.

The trained observer surprises less, that politicians say something or don't say it, and then confirm it or deny it, what more attracts attention, is that, in Argentina evidently any politician, and not as it would be expected an independent judiciary, decides who goes to jail and who not, and at whom after months or years staying there in prison, some ridiculous trials are attached,(for example, for suspected misconduct in pre-trial detention), which only are targetted to extend the same arbitrary pre-trial detention.

This is, what happened in the case of Milagro Sala with the provincial caudillo Gerardo Morales, who detained Milagro Sala for being a woman and an indigenous, now there already almost a year and a half ago.

Despite requests and urgent resolutions by the PARLASUR (South American Parliament, Milagro Sala is elected Member of Parliament there) and by the UNITED NATIONS the woman remains in jail.

Evidently something similar is planned to construct regarding to the former president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.
