There are about 130 workers who are now facing a simple nothing, some of them with more than 30 years of company affiliation.

In order to prevent the removal of the production machines of the closed down plant in Sanagasta, the dismissed workers erected a protest camp in front the factory.

Already days before, the protest marches of the teachers began in the provinces with the march-goal of the capital.

Situation went some dramatic by the announcement of the Minister of the Interior, that the police would now shoot at demonstrators of any kind.

A taste of this already could be experienced the day before when the mother of a demonstrating adolescent was shot and killed by the armed regime forces.

Statements from the honorable president and his even more honorable contributors like public schools are worthless, media wide advertising campaigns for private schools and badmaking of children in public schools, persisting in the suspension of statutory wage negotiations, attempts to eliminate the constitutional right to strike, the intention to dissolve unions not conforming to the regime, the questioning the of general, public elections, etc. etc. were not necessarily designed to cool down the excited minds.

There were half a million people on the Plaza de Mayo in order to defend public education.

Sending police officers to schools in order to investigate teachers if they are in agreement with the regime or not, making black lists of teachers, rewarding good teachers for denouncing their colleagues who don't love the regime so much etc. etc. obviously didn't help much to solve the problem, that inflation rate is about 40% and the offer to raise salaries of 9000 Pesos (580 US$/540 €) by teacher by 18%.

It seems teachers know to calculate and they realized that accepting this generous offer would be a huge loss.

Interjections by regime-friendly circles, such as that one of the Vice President saying, that being a teacher is only a half-day job, also were less suitable to improve something tense climate.

So teachers are still marching for worthy wages.

Protests continue in all places of Argentina

about 7 monthes ago

Pro Scrito

It seems that people are not more happy with the regime macrista. Although the honorable president doesn't believe that protest marches and strikes are tools of democracy, people is on the streets. Because one thing is what a someone believes, and another thing is what the national constitution guarantees everyone.

And it has its logic: Since the election campaign the regime is unable to give good news from the economy, at other hand: thousands of companies had to close, either for being unable to pay increases of up to 6000% of light, gas, water, or because they could not compete with the uncontrolled importation granted by the regime, which logically starting entered with fighting prices, in order to kill domestic companies.

As starting-period is over, imported goods have become also expensive, more than half a million workers have been arbitrarily dismissed, instead of promised zero poverty, 1 out of 3 Argentines is now in poverty, instead of the promised zero inflation, an inflation rate reaches more than 40 %, the absence of the state is evident in security, in the area of health, wages and pensions lower, constitutional rights are violated (e. the right of wage negotiations) people do not stay at home anymore and march in the streets, in each city, throughout the whole country.

Trade unions whose functionaries have not succumbed to bribery attempts by the regime call for a general strike on 30 March 2017.

With the upcoming marches for National Day of Memory (24 March) and for Veterans Day and the Fallen in the Malvinas War, some more problems can be estimated for the regime, since the regime removed both calendar holidays, in order to have to put them again there thanks to public pressure.

A huge participation in protest marches

A huge participation in protest marches

Three consecutive days of protest marches:
They started on March 6, 2017. with the march of teachers, who are denied wage/parity negotiations.
The next day there were a march of a federation of unions near the regime, where a general strike should be announced, but they didn't announce it, caused by negotiations of the regime with the leaders of the union, which in turn caused almost the lynching of theunion leaders by the angry people.
And on March 8, International Women's Day 2017, the Women's March which ended, as was expected and quite usual in times of applied neo-liberalism, with police arbitrariness and attacks by armed units on women and women's groups.

Representatives of the Macrista regime proclaimed almost 2 years ago in their election campaign slogans like zero poverty, zero inflation, etc.
In a single year of their government the number of poor people increased by about 2 million, the rate of inflation is above 40%.
After vetoing the salary convention of the banks unions with the banks, next in line who are affected by the arbitrariness of the Macrista regime, are the teachers of public schools:
Here the salary negotiations (mandatory by law) directly were suspended by the Macrista regime.
Of course, the teachers did not take it quietly with love and peace: Despite death threats by regime-related circles to union representatives and their families, the teachers organized a countrywide strike and protest marches.
The participation in the teacher strike is 95%, the number of participants in the protest march in the Federal Capital Buenos Aires is 50,000 people.

Yerba-Mate for free: Protest of Mate farmers

Yerba-Mate for free: Protest of Mate farmers

Yerba-Mate for free: Protest of Mate farmers

more photos (2 pics)

An Argentine can not live without Mate, this tea, this infusion, or name it how you want to name it.
It's most normal, it's standard, to share the Mate-Cup, let it make the rounds in family or friends-circles.
Only foreigners from northern countries can afford to say I don't like Mate, because it's recognized, that they are rare.
The grass, the Yerba Mate is produced in northeastern Argentina and the use isn't reduced to Argentina only: there were exports until to the Middle East.
There were.
The regime of the Macristen opened the import for Yerba Mate too. For the good of the consumer, they said.
The fact is that Yerba prices have exploded (neoliberal importers also want to live well) and the producers are paid every time less and less: they have to be live with about 5% of the selling to costumers price for Yerba Mate.
So it's not a great miracle that the producers of Yerba Mate became more and more unhappy, and one day decided to go to the capital and there, to protest in front of the headquarter of the regime on the Plaza de Mayo, and in protest give away their Yerba Mate to the people for free, saying regarding to that what pay the neoliberal entrepreneurs, we can give away the Yerba Mate directly for free.

A never ending story: President Macri once again impeached

about 8 monthes ago

Pro Scrito

There is nothing new for the president: he has already suffered more than 200 complaints/trials in his life, some ending with convictions, for example, for contraband - now there is a new one against the president and one of his officials with the forgiving a debt to the family.
A never ending story: President Macri once again impeached

A never ending story: President Macri once again impeached

cred. bbc.com

The story is short and simple:

The son (the president), forgives the father a some hundred billions of debt, which the father had with the state due a slightly failed process regarding to the privatization of state post.

But also the mother is not neglected:
Her family was finally able to sell a few acres of land for about 800 million dollars (more than 3 times the commercial value) to an energy company that has never built a power plant, in order to build a power plant.

Waves are going high, everyone speaks of political judgment, impeachment etc., if this time there will be results, the future will teach.

The list of events on the ghost train journey that Argentina is currently going through is already quite long, and never happens nothing:

The cousin (front man of the president/group of companies of the president's family) now must be happy with billions for works contracts of which it is not known if they will start, the vice president didn't get to know anything, so she doesn't know anything, the security minister disguises as Rambo and buys overpriced warships, the Minister of Environment calls in case of fire to pray, the Minister of Labor informs that in case of unemployment, you also should address a saint in order to get a job.

All are listening illegally to all, and accuse each other of listening, top-spies sell normal and standard furniture of their apartment for millions of dollars, and deposit them for security reasons (not to evade, they say) in Switzerland.

There are 80 workers fired per hour, the national economy sinks, bread has multiplied by four in a year its price, light, gas, toll prices suffer increases up to thousand percents on a monthly basis, salary negotiations are suspended, union leaders are bribed, weak opposition members are bought.
The announced rain of dollars by foreign investors, never comes, the 0% poverty program changed slightly to a 40% poverty program and we repress all, hospitals and clinics, pensioners run out of medicines, public schools are brought to their decomposition (even literally).

Impeachments regarding to the abuse of power, end, thanks to the fact that the judicial power is also open to any bribe, in nothing, or if sometimes, go straight to the trash.
That all beings that have rank and name in the neo-liberal scenery, are listed several times in the Panama Papers, are listed in quite good positions if we talk about the case of the Brazilian real estate giant Odebrecht and its fines, that poorly paid domestic workers have hide envelopes after every wash between towels with millions (of which they say they are a gift from the current groom and belong to the housewife's foundation) etc., are details on the edge, that no longer matter - or might be: yes they'll matter, at some point.

Never say that the President isn’t noble, white-skinned and handsome

Clashes between the armed units of the regime and demonstrating trade unionists.
Never say that the President isn’t noble, white-skinned and handsome

Never say that the President isn’t noble, white-skinned and handsome

The president interrupted his (already third) vacation in this year for a few hours to attend an event in the city Viedma (Río Negro province).
There, for some reasons enough explicable, the popularity of the president is not the highest one.
So he was already received at the airport by demonstrators and trade unionists. In the city itself there were also demonstrations.
The president was brought to the city via an alternative, protesters-free route and the present armed police units were ordered to repress the demonstrators with some violence.
It has become a sad fact that the President can not show himself in public. The few published public appearances are scenes with contracted actors.
